Scotland - Kilmartin to Isle of Skye

We spotted some seals splashing about in Loch Pooltiel (see red arrow). According to legend, a viking prince named Diel drowned in a ship-wreck and his body was laid here by Mermaids. The loch is named after him:  ‘The Pool of Diel’ which is ‘Pooltiel’ in Gaelic.
